Nothing makes a Friday speed by quite like getting out at lunchtime, so don’t miss the final performance in the RBC Noon Hour Concert Series. The final concert will showcase the folk-roots artist Lynn Jackson in St. George’s Square this Friday, July 29th.

Last Friday, Reenie Perkovic, a Toronto-based musician and composer, was joined by her wife, Lea Kirstein, to form the duo and the pair delighted the crowd with their folk pop sound.

So, start your weekend a little early with some awesome music and sun. Stretch out on one of the colourful lounge chairs, grab a bite from one of the delicious food trucks, enjoy the shade of a parasol or tent, get a squirt of free sunscreen, grab a hoola hoop for kids of all ages, and enjoy!

The 2016 concert series also featured the talents of Kenny Phelps’s reggae and soul tunes, Sikh Youth Seva Organization’s drumming and dance, the folk and rockabilly of The Wanted, the Celtic Harpist Ruth Sutherland, Josh Gabriel’s folk-jazz, and the rockin’ Bad Neighbours.

The Noon Hour Concert Series is a free annual event presented by RBC and the Downtown Guelph Business Association at noon on Fridays through June and July.
