In announcing the workshop, Guelph Arts Council Executive Director Patti Broughton said: “We are so grateful to Meridian Credit Union for offering this workshop to Guelph’s creative community. Financial literacy is important for everyone, but in a special way for artists, who are often self-employed or have multiple sources of income. Dealing with finances can be overwhelming and time consuming, particularly when faced with many options and conflicting information. This workshop will help cut through the clutter, and equip creative professionals with skills to effectively manage their finances.”
