Guelph, ON – March 1, 2016 –In partnership with City of Guelph, Downtown Renewal and Downtown Guelph Business Association, Guelph Arts Councilinvites professional and emerging artists to apply for the third and final round of HATCH [pop-up art-space], a creative spaces project that connects artists with free temporary art space in under-utilized and transitioning spaces in downtown Guelph.

Properties donated in this round include: public installation spaces in decommissioned Guelph Transit bus shelters, the front window at Guelph’s co-working hub 10 Carden, and an entire vacant commercial unit in Old Quebec Street Mall.

The deadline for applications is Sunday, March 20th at noon.Successful applicants will be notified by March 25th, 2016.

Successful applicants are matched with a space for approximately 30 days. Artists are provided with free space and compensated for installation costs, as well as artist and/or professional fees.
