The arts are HUGE – hugely important, hugely popular, and hugely diverse. We could talk about art all day, every day, until we die, and still not cover everything there is to say. Over 2015 we divided the year into bite-size chunks and took action through the Twelve Month Artful Pledge. In 2016, we will look a little deeper into different styles of art, as well as some of the many areas where art intersects with other disciplines and human endeavours.

Here’s what we’ll be talking about over the coming year:

If you are an individual, artist, organization, or professional involved in work related to any of the above themes, we’d love to hear from you. Let us know what you do, if you practice locally, and if you’re looking to share your work, please include images, links or information we can publish about where people can experience it!

If you have a related story, anecdote, thought, or question to share, we especially would appreciate you taking the time to send that in to [email protected]. The sooner we hear from you, the better the chance we’ll be able to address your question or include your point of view in our enews or social media communications for that month. Conversations about the arts are infinitely richer with your participation. Thanks in advance for sending in your thoughts!
