Galerie de Bellefeuille – Toronto is seeking to fill a full time position for an individual to work in the Art Handling and Operations department.

Responsibilities:

-Maintain inventory.
-Install artwork and exhibitions.
-Prepare shipping documents and customs documentation.
-Schedule local and international deliveries.
-Prepare orders for framing and packing materials.
-Maintain stationery and office supplies inventory.
-Handle packing, unpacking and inspection of all artworks entering and leaving gallery.
-Assist in day-to-day administrative duties (answering phone, mailing etc.)
-Maintain physical space and general housekeeping.
-Supervise contractual maintenance labour.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years experience Excellent communication skills (oral & written) Excellent interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Physically able for the manipulation and installations of artworks Valid driver’s license knowledge of “ArtLogic” or similar databases is an asset
