OCAD University’s International Summer Art & Design Residency is a three-week hands-on studio experience dedicated to high school students (16 years and older) who want to visit and make art in Toronto, Canada.
This residency program will closely resemble the first-year OCAD U experience with studio visits, critiques and projects that help you develop and improve your ideas through full-day studio classes. By the end of this program, you will come away with new work that will showcase your concepts, skills and techniques for post-secondary admissions inspired by your time in Toronto.
Who is this program for: This program is perfect for local and international youth considering creative post-secondary education. Applicants must have completed Grade 10 and be 16 years or older.
Location: Situated at our campus in downtown Toronto, you are invited to fully immerse yourself in the making of a new series of art or design work for your portfolio under the guidance of OCAD U faculty.
Accommodation: This residency program includes a 3-week accommodation with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner at Parkside, one of OCAD U’s nearby student housing partners in downtown Toronto.

Fee: CAD $7,150 + applicable taxes. Includes accommodation and meal plan.
Fee without accommodation for local applicants: CAD $4,700.00 + applicable taxes. Accommodation, transportation and meals are not included.
