The circle is more than just a shape, it’s one of humanity’s oldest and most powerful symbols, representing unity, wholeness, and the infinite across cultures and time. This year’s theme invites you and artists to move beyond the circle, to unfold, examine, and reimagine the layers of meaning that this shape can hold through dynamic and creative lenses! The circle can also speak to our shared experiences, collective strength, and the connections that bind our community. Take the chance to reflect and discover the possibilities of what lies beyond familiarity.
This call includes both General and Special Projects.
About Special Projects: Each year ARTSIDEOUT looks to commission 2-3 larger scale, stand-alone performance works which respond to that year’s theme to act as high-impact anchors for the festival.
