I was born in Medellín, Colombia, and moved to Guelph, Canada, more than thirty years ago after marrying my Canadian husband. I hold a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and have received foreign credential recognition from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. My background in architecture has strongly influenced my artistic vision, especially my sense of composition, form, and spatial awareness.

Over time, I have explored different mediums such as sketching and watercolour. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I turned to oil painting and began working with a spatula, discovering the expressive possibilities of colour, texture, and movement.

In 2024, I had the privilege of participating in the Primer Salón de Arte, Artistas Emergentes at Galería Duke in Medellín, Colombia, and my work continues to be exhibited there in 2025.

I love working with oils and a spatula on wood or canvas. Each piece holds a memory and offers the joy of capturing moments of reality—vibrant, textured, and full of life, just like the world around us.
