I love stories. Stories read, stories told, stories seen that good photographs can tell.

For me, it’s about creating photographs that tell stories and make connections – personal connections shaped by our own experiences. Photography, like any art, should elicit an emotional response. I shoot what resonates with me in nature, urban and rural landscapes, architecture, people, social commentary; my lens is broad and eclectic. I love to photograph the everyday from a new perspective. Sometimes, I like to experiment with exposure and colour to create images that look more like impressions or paintings but most often I strive for realism.

My photography journey began when I retired three years ago, and I'm always learning and evolving. I'm proud to have had two pieces accepted into the Minto Arts Council Juried Show (Harriston, Ontario 2023), the juried Art in the Sawmill show & sale (Verona, Ontario 2023), the juried Wellington County Museum Christmas Market (2023), and I've exhibited in public libraries and hospitals.

All of my photographs are available as prints and cards. Each order is individually produced, and can be mounted on canvas, wood, metal or just as a print on archival quality paper for you to frame yourself. The size and medium are your choice!
