K. Percival creates mixed-media paintings and collages that explore perception, lived experience, and memory. Her work investigates how art can bridge the gaps in communication created by our different experiences and perspectives, with a current focus on colour. Through varied materials and a recurring cube motif, she shifts attention away from representation and toward the qualities of colour, texture, and material. She invites viewers to focus on their own emotional responses rather than search for a prescribed meaning.
