Lauren Wright Vartanian is a visual artist who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2006. Her work focuses on bridging Science and Art in a way that is both beautiful and educational. She is currently working on an illustrated, science themed alphabet book to be published by Firefly Books (release fall 2024.). The art work is a combination of applique, embroidery, needle felting and quilting. Lauren lives in Guelph with her husband and child.
