Joan is a Quilt artist and longarm quilter living in Guelph, Ontario,

She also does occasional stints as a California and Ontario Certified Studio teacher for actors who are minors.

And she has produced and directed a number of documentary films and videos including

Contemporary Canadian Art Quilts,

a Multi-media exhibition of over 50 Canadian textile artists,  curated and mounted in the Berlin Tower Artspace, Kitchener City Hall, Ontario, (2017) with the help of Ed Video Media Arts Centre, Guelph.
