Madeleine Avery is a Canadian artist whose multidisciplinary practice is rooted in printmaking. Working from personal photographic archives, memory, and everyday observation, she explores how ordinary experiences are framed, revisited, and transformed over time through processes of translation, repetition, and material experimentation.

She is particularly drawn to domestic interiors, familiar objects, and quiet moments of attention, returning to recurring motifs such as windows, vessels, and flowers throughout her work. By moving between observation and recollection, her practice considers the shifting relationship between memory, looking, and the images we choose to preserve.

Madeleine received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Art History from the University of Guelph. Her work has been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Guelph, Necessary Arts, the Elora Centre for the Arts, Boarding House Gallery, and Satellite Project Space.
