Mary Calarco is a mixed media artist who combines painting, block printing and traditional rug hooking techniques. Through repetition, deconstruction and collage, she reveals the vulnerability of tactile materials to create artwork that is approachable, modern and imperfect.

An Interdisciplinary Studies graduate at Ontario College of Art and Design, Mary has extensive experience in arts administration, art/fine craft jurying, event management and community outreach.
