Morgyn Roberts (She/Her) (b.2001) is an interdisciplinary artist born in 'Hamilton' and now practicing in ‘Guelph’, Ontario. Morgyn’s art primarily plays with the interactions between nature and mythological/religious iconography. Morgyn tells these stories with the assistance of her confident colour palettes and expressive brushwork. Morgyn focuses most on oil painting and printmaking, often embracing mixed media and unconventional materials in her work. Morgyn's art career extends into both activism within her community, and her profession as a recreation therapist focusing on the impact of art on mental health. Morgyn has taken part in many exhibitions of her work including both group and solo shows at Necessary Arts Gallery, 10C, Artbar, Art Not Shame, and The Cotton Factory (Hamont).
