This year’s open mic night went great. While attendance was smaller than we had hoped, the event was a lot of fun, and I’m very grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the night a success.
We started off with a few songs from myself, GAC’s spring semester co-op student, and a few from one of the audience members. Preetam ended up performing one of his originals around the halfway mark as well.
One of the audience members, who came all the way from London On, had a lot of fun playing around with the sound board when me or either of the other performers were singing. We all had a blast laughing around about how we sounded with the voice effects.
In the end, this open mic night was a meaningful experience that brought people together through music and performance.
