CONTEST DETAILS/RULES
WHO: This contest is open to all youth artists (ages 21 or younger) from Guelph and surrounding areas.
WHAT:
Art on the Street highlights talent within the regional arts community from both established and emerging artists featuring contemporary fine art and craft. In partnership with the Downtown Guelph Business Association, Guelph Arts Council, need your help! We are looking for vibrant, creative artwork that celebrates Art on the Street and its connection to the art community!
The winning design should be colourful, creative and showcase what art means to you!
WHEN: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 P.M. on Sunday, March 5th, 2023.
WHY: The winner’s design will be published in all Art on the Street Promotional Material including but not limited to, Street Light Banner, Posters, Flyers, Brochures, Social Media Promotion, etc. Additionally, the winner will also receive a $150 gift card to Wyndham Arts and $150 Downtown Dollars.
The top 3 designs will be displayed at the Guelph Arts Council Booth on the day of the event in celebration of the amazing work from the youth artists.
HOW: Submit your entry (one entry per artist only) using the form in the link HERE. Each entry must include the Artist’s name and age, an email Address to contact you by (guardian or teacher’s email address if under 18) , and a short description of the artwork. The entry can be any 2 dimensional medium (painting, digital, drawing, etc) that can be scanned in the highest resolution possible (as they will be enlarged for promotion), or a good quality high resolution photograph of a 3D piece of artwork (jewelry, sculpture).

- COPYRIGHT AND PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Downtown Guelph Business Association and Guelph Arts Council acquires the rights to process and use the works submitted for the Contest.
The Chosen art will become the property of the Organizers, but rights to use the image are non-exclusive.
Submission to the competition is equal to transferring the ownership of a copy of the competition work and the rights to use it to the Organizer free of charge.
Participation in the Contest is equal to consent to the processing of personal data and the publication of the image (and data in the form of First name and School Name) in the promotional materials of the event.
