Guelph Arts Council is delighted to announce our inaugural exhibition at the artBar (37 Quebec St. Upper Level), and we’re eager to share this creative endeavor with our members and the broader Guelph community. The GAC Members Show provides a platform for local visual artists to display their work and join in celebrating our transition to the artBar as a hub for artistic expression.

Our move to this new space has been driven by a commitment to enhancing artistic opportunities in our community. The GAC Members Show is a testament to this commitment and the start of a series of upcoming exhibitions. In December, the Guelph Emerging Artists Mentorship Project (GEAMP) program mentees will showcase their artistic growth in an end-of-program exhibition.

The engagement of the Guelph community with the artBar has been a joy to observe, and we’re excited to see how local creatives will continue to make this space their own.

The GAC Members Show is now open to the public and will be on display from Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, until November 23, 2023. We also invite you to join us for a special closing reception on November 16th, from 7pm to 9pm, to connect with the artists and their work.

As we embark on this new chapter of artistic exploration, Guelph Arts Council remains committed to nurturing and promoting our creative community. The GAC Members Show is just the beginning, and we welcome you to be part of this exciting journey. Your support and presence play a crucial role in expanding artistic opportunities in Guelph. Please join us in celebrating the power of art, creativity, and the potential of our community.

We look forward to seeing you at the GAC Members Show at the artBar!
