A former English teacher/teacher librarian, Susan is no stranger to Guelph. She has lived on Water Street in Guelph for 37 years now.  Susan has been a walking tour guide for the historical walking tours Guelph Arts Council since 1987.  She currently serves as site coordinator for Doors Open Guelph which she has done for five years now.

A mother and grandmother of three lovely girls, Susan still finds time, 19 years in fact, to work as a reference librarian at the Guelph Public Library.  She has written opinion columns for the Guelph Mercury. Since retiring, Susan has pursued her passion for Guelph history as archivist for the Guelph and Wellington Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario.

We thank Susan for her service with Guelph Arts Council. Visit our 2021 Doors Open Guelph Sites Here!
