Guelph Dance, a charitable organization with a mission to provide engaging dance and arts experiences in Guelph, will be raising funds to support our 2024 programming. The evening will include dancing, drinks, snacks, dancing, trivia, a silent auction, and probably some more dancing. The silent auction curated to bring you unique experiences will include Hillside Festival 2024 passes, class passes for Shift Yoga and Moonlight Yoga, Stratford Festival play passes, and many more sensational items! We are thrilled to have the stellar sounds of Danasonic to set the scene for a perfect evening of grooving and moving. An opportunity to gather, connect and celebrate with our incredible community, this party will also reveal the programming of the 26th annual Guelph Dance Festival!

This season marks the 26th year of bringing dance to the local community. One of the major goals of Guelph Dance is to take contemporary dance to where the community is: to the streets, parks, and schools. This is accomplished through annual festival programming, workshops, mentorship programs, opportunities for local artists, and camps for children. We believe that innovative, inclusive, accessible arts experiences are integral to building strong communities and giving people a sense of place. At the core of our being, we know that dance brings people together, fosters healthy living, is a catalyst for conversation, empowers people to express themselves and is a seed to future artistic engagement.

We endeavor to make our programming financially accessible by offering pay-what-you-can events and sliding scale ticket pricing. The proceeds of Ready, Set, Groove! will support our ability to offer sliding scale and pay-what-you-can ticket pricing to all of our festival events. The 26th annual Guelph Dance Festival will take place from May 31st to June 2nd, 2024 featuring a fantastic variety of performances and workshops with local and national artists. Our hope is for everyone to engage with dance regardless of experience, age, or financial situation.

Whether you’re a longtime follower of Guelph Dance, or have just learned about us, you’re invited to celebrate dance in our community at Ready, Set, Groove! We hope to see you on April 5th!

Tickets are available for $35 here which includes a $25 donation receipt, one drink ticket, and snacks. If you’re unable to attend, but would still like to support, you can also make a donation here
